Teams & Organizations we work with
Lady Steel Travel Teams consist of fastpitch softball players from Chester County, PA and surrounding areas. These groups of 18u, 14u and 12u girls are talented, committed and hard-working. They practice from August to July. During the winter, they attend indoor training programs to prepare for their year-round tournament schedule. Their main training facility is at 5001 E Lincoln Highway, Parkesburg, PA, and their tournaments/showcases have been played in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Ohio.
Ultimately, their pursuit of excellence in this environment will help these girls prepare for competition in collegiate sports and challenges in life.
West Chester Rugby Football Club is dedicated to promoting and organizing the sport of rugby for school-age boys and girls in West Chester Area School District, PA, USA. They’re made up of students from the 3 area high schools, 3 area middle schools, and 5th graders from the elementary schools. They practice from January to May and matches (games) begin in late March/early April. There is opportunity to play year round in the Mid Atlantic, as well as play at the premier level in tournaments in places like Bermuda and Dubai.
They are always looking for new players and the cool thing about this club and this sport is NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!
The Balance Bat is a game ready training bat that uses both traditional sports science and current training principles to develop both baseball and softball hitters. It has been said that hitting a baseball or softball is the hardest athletic act in sports! The Balance Bat helps players understand and feel the correct body and bat positions to develop the most adjustable and explosive swing possible; regardless of age and/or skill level.
Odyssey Gold Softball (Chester County Pennsylvania) is a team that was formed as part of the larger Odyssey Fastpitch Softball organization that originated in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The team was founded in 2016 with a family centric atmosphere where coaches, parents, families, and players worked together to provide young women a positive, developmental, and team oriented culture. This tradition continues in 2022 for the start of the team's 6th year. Over these last 6 years the team has obtained success finishing in the top 5 at national events twice, the top 4 at Pennsylvania State Championships twice, 8 tournament championships, and 8 runner-up finishes. A majority of our roster has received interest from college coaches. They will continue to focus on helping players achieve their softball goals by participating in showcases, assisting them with recruiting needs, and providing them access to the college softball experience while also providing the opportunity to compete as a team playing the sport they love.
They are also adding a 10U Team for the 2021/2022 season. Their goal is to continue the Odyssey tradition of player development by teaching fundamentals, skills, and building confidence in a positive, fun environment. They take pride in developing top talent in Chester County, PA as witnessed by our players' success on the field, in high school softball, and in the classroom.
They would like to thank Dennis Donahue for welcoming our team into the Odyssey Fastpitch Softball Organization.
